Want to help out families of prem babies but you aren’t sure how? Here are a few suggestions:

Get crafting

The Life’s Little Treasures Foundation has some great knitting, sewing and crafting patterns on their website. These items are donated to families in hospital and are always appreciated by new mums and dads.

Share your story

Nobody know what a neonatal unit (NICU) is until you are in one. Talking about prematurity and the journey can help make it less daunting for other families. If you have a story to share, we would love to hear it. Email us at hello@perfectlyprem.com to find out if we can share your story on our blog.

With a child in hospital, the last thing you want to do is cook. Dropping off food means one less thing for these mums and dads to think about. If you don’t want to cook, how about a voucher for youfoodz or Uber Eats.

Often families are staying away from home and may not have great access to washing facilities. Helping out with a load or 2 of washing is one less thing for families to worry about. If you don’t have the time, maybe a voucher for someone like The Laundry Lady.
